What we do

We are a group of Marazion parents/grandparents/teachers who fundraise for the school.

All parents and carers of children at Marazion School are welcome to join the group to help raise funds. If you would like to help out with planning/running events and/or want to meet new people, please contact us on foms@cornishrock.com or speak to the school office.  

Our primary role is that of fundraising to support the school budget for all those little extras which aren't available from regular school funds to help advance the education of the pupils at the school. We do this through arranging fundraising events throughout the course of the school year. All children will benefit from the money we raise over the course of their time at our Primary School. Events include the Summer fun day, Christmas Fair, Halloween Disco and Spring Disco.

We always need people to bake cakes and biscuits, to help out in the kitchen, to set up and clear up after events. Even if you can only spare a short time to help out, it is much appreciated (we never judge how little or much you do).

There will be announcements about events and requests for help in the school newsletter which is published every Friday.
